Directions to Parc Jarry via Marché Jean-Talon (Jean-Talon Market)

From Hôtel le Dauphin : Walk to the metro station Place d'Armes. Get on the orange line (it's your only option) going in the direction of Montmorency. Ask the reception for exact directions; it's very close!

From M-Montréal Hostel : Walk towards Rue Sainte-Catherine on Rue André. Turn left on Rue Sainte-Catherine and walk down to Berri-UQàM metro station. Take the orange metro line in the direction of Montmorency. The reception will be glad to clarify this for you!

Then, for everyone:

Get off of the metro at Jean-Talon station.

To exit the metro station, follow signs to Marché Jean-Talon. You can ask any metro agent how to leave the station to go towards the market. Once you leave the station, head to and cross Rue Saint-Denis on Rue Jean-Talon. Rue Drolet will be the next cross street you should see. Then turn left on Avenue Henri-Julien, and you'll see the very large open-air market!

At Marché Jean-Talon, a large open-air market, you will find all kinds of things you might want for a picnic : baguettes at Première Moisson, cheese at Fromagerie Hamel (or any of the other cheese shops), wine or other spirits at the SAQ, fruit, sausages, etc. We will have a wine bottle opener!

Let's assume you finish your market time at the SAQ. From there, you will walk towards Rue Jean-Talon on Avenue Casgrain. Turn left on Rue Jean-Talon. Turn right on Boulevard Saint-Laurent. You will see the park on the left. We intend to be between Boulevard Saint-Laurent and the pond with the fountain. Can't wait to see you there!
