Dear Family & Friends,

First off, we want you to know that your presence at our wedding events is the best gift we could imagine. We are so deeply thankful for the time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us on our special day. We are so thrilled that we get to celebrate this happy occasion with you! That in itself is enough to make us happy for life.

In addition to anticipating the wonderful changes marriage will bring to our lives, we also get to look forward to heading into the internship phase of our master's degrees in the months after we get married. Because we plan to move directly to India for those internships from our honeymoon in Sri Lanka, we are choosing to forego a lot of the "essential" home items that a newly married couple needs. While we have taken a number of great trips together, we are really excited about embarking upon our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime memories we will gain from this trip that we decided to registry primarily for experiential honeymoon-related gifts, with only a couple of bare necessities). We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.
